Matt Barbera serves Gardner & White clients in Illinois
with a full complement of group, retirement and voluntary benefit
plans and services. He has 15 years of experience in providing
financial and retirement plan consulting services in the greater
Chicago area. His work history includes financial consulting with
Smith Barney and Merill Lynch as well as account management positions
with CIGNA, American United Life, and TIAA-CREF. Matt is a graduate
of Indiana State University, where he majored in Finance. He has
earned all applicable life and health licenses in the state of
Illinois and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 designations.

Jacki has a diverse background with her career at Gardner & White beginning over 18 years
ago. In addition to being a primary Account Executive, preceding roles include account
billing & administration, corporate training and service quality management. She has
served as a client services representative for fully insured benefit plans, directed
administrative services in support of worksite benefit programs, and provided quality assurance
and auditing functions to medical plans and Flexible Spending Accounts. Jacki holds
Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri Life and Health licenses. As a Gardner & White Account
Executive, Jacki is focused on coordinating a responsive, proactive approach to serving the
benefit plan support needs of our clients across group and worksite benefit categories.

Mary has been with Gardner & White for over 25 years. During
her tenure, she has been most active in the areas of Group Life, Long
Term Disability and Dental Insurance, but is also familiar with
Voluntary benefits, Short Term Disability and Vision plans. Mary
has supervised the Gardner & White Insured Claims and the Insured
Administration Departments, and served our clients’ benefit support
needs across group, retirement and worksite benefit areas in her
role as a Service Quality Manager.
In addition to having an Indiana Life & Health License, Mary
has had extensive training and practical experience in a complete
range of group benefit service functions. Mary has been involved
in providing high level Customer Service at the plan sponsor and
participant levels throughout her career.

As a Gardner & White Account Manager, Chris Minick
provides our clients with critical group and retirement
plan support services. Her responsibilities include day-to-day
communication and plan enrollment functions as well as an ongoing
role as an intermediary to carriers and other providers in
resolving administrative issues. She supports our regional
representatives and plan consultants by serving as an advocate on
behalf of plan sponsors.
Ms Minick has twelve years of experience in the retirement
services industry, specializing in the banking/trust environment, where
she served clients as a central point of contact in the areas of
compliance, record keeping, administration and educational programs. In
addition to her general expertise with 401(k) and pension plans, she
has worked directly with portfolio managers to form an understanding of
underlying investments and served as a retirement plan administrator in
a human resources environment.
